Enjoy this beautiful video showing the love generated by Aiden Edward Harley’s 51-minute life. A poignant article in Sunday’s Wichita Eagle chronicles the birth of Aiden, his brave mother, Jacie Brown, and the loving perinatal team from Choices Medical Clinic. And how wonderful that there exist charities like the Agape’ Care Cradle in Wichita–a nonprofit infant mortuary.
“It’s amazing what such a scary diagnosis for your first child can do to you. It wakes you up and makes you realize you don’t take people for granted, or anything/anyone around you for that matter.”–Jacie’s Journal
Perinatal hospice is a nationally-growing specialty that provides comprehensive help for the medically fragile unborn baby, and her family, before and after birth. Too often, women with medically challenging pregnancies have been dismissed to abortion clinics.
After years of work, Kansans for Life was instrumental in this year’s passage of a new state law requiring that abortion clinics (and a hotline and an online info booklet by the state health agency) tell women where they can access such free services.
