"Have an abortion, uh, I mean an apple, my pretty"
Today, the Senate approved, 61-39, an amendment which would essentially open the door to defining abortion as “preventive care” (by HHS head Kathleen Sebelius), and resulting in insurance-mandated abortion coverage without co-payment.
UPDATE: Tuesday, Dec. 8- Bad news. By a vote of 54-45, the Senate tabled (killed) the pro-life Nelson/Hatch amendment, co-sponsored by Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback. Both Brownback and Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts voted to save the amendment. Hear Brownback speech on (more…)
Pro-abortion Senators, who view Planned Parenthood as necessary medical providers, decry volunteer-run pregnancy centers as pseudo-clinics, and fuss about the supposedly necessary separation of church and state, inserted a provision into Obamacare to fund “religious” healing activities!
