Our previous post described the Sen. Ben Nelson pro-life betrayal. Join Mike Huckabee for an emergency rally in Omaha, Sunday Dec. 20– FREE bus rides leave Topeka & Kansas City at 10am , and are sponsored by Americans for Prosperity. Here are the details:
Sen. Ben Nelson says he has signed on as the last vote to pass the worst piece of legislation in our nation’s history. He allowed himself to be bought off — getting special treatment for Nebraska’s Medicaid program at the expense of the rest of our nation’s taxpayers. For the foreseeable future, under Nelson’s deal, the rest of Americans would pay for Nebraskans’ Medicaid on top of their already crushing tax burden.
We can’t let this stand. This is corruption at its height.
Join Mike Huckabee and others for an emergency rally at 3pm in the Omaha Music Hall in Nebraska as we take a stand and tell Sen. Nelson one more time: KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OUR HEALTH CARE! Don’t be a sellout, Sen. Nelson – remember your constituents and don’t pit them against the rest of America. Go to this page to register but note that the map they give for KC pick up we believe is slightly wrong . See our directions below instead.
Buses will be leaving at 10 am for the rally
Topeka, KS Pick up/Drop off
Orscheln parking lot – 1139 SW Wanamaker RdView map.
Kansas City, MO Pick up/Drop Off
Straub Construction – 7775 Meadow View Drive, Shawnee, KS 66227
Just West of Highway 7 near 77th Street. Earlier map was provided by Americans for Prosperity, and that map is still on the registration web site we are sending you to, but they appear to be giving directions to Straub Development, which does have a club house that is north of 75th when we believe it is the Straub Construction offices they meant, which are SOUTH of 75th around where 77th would be marked (if the area wasn’t so new). The good news is that you can see Straub Construction to the West from Highway 7.
In any event, they should have people posted at both places just in case.
To get to Straub Construction office building, enter frontage road that runs west of, and parallel to, Hwy 7 (Hedge Lane Ter.) at either 75th (no light or stopsign on Hwy 7, just a place to turn) or 83rd Street. If you enter on 83rd, you will find Hedge Lane on the West side of the 83rd Street bridge that goes over Hwy 7. Turn right (north) and follow Hedge Lane until it straightens out and you see Straub around 77th Street or what would be 77th.
